- Signed the contract that assigns to 60% of Trieste Passenger terminal to the network guided from Unicredit and Costa Crociere

 Today the contract for the cession from the Harbor Authority of Trieste of 60% of the share capital of the Trieste is signed Passenger terminal Spa (TTP) to the Trieste Adriatic Maritime Initiatives Srl (TAMI), society constituted ad hoc from Unicredit (31%), Coast Cruises (29%), Giuliana Bunkeraggi (15%), Reguardia (15%) and Assurances Generali (10%) in order to participate to the contest indetta from the harbor agency for the sale of the quota. To the Harbor Authority it remains remaining 40% of the capital of TTP, society that the agency has constituted 11 April 2007 which only shareholder in order to entrust them the operations management of disembarkation and boarding of the fleeting ships in the port of Trieste and of the connected activities.-
- In a note the Harbor Authority, TAMI and TTP have explained that "the introduced industrial plan from TAMI under contest presupposes a fort throws again of two Core fundamental businesses: that crocieristico and that commonly identified like industry of events (MICE). Regarding first, the objective is the creation of hub tourist for the development of the crocieristico market of central Europe and an oriental. Regarding the second, it is worked in the perspective of a strong implementation of the congressional activity and of cultural events, with a detail focus on that vocati to the sea and the excellence of the territory, identifying Marine Station and Pier Fourth which you leave of a total plan of requalification of the waterfront city".

- The Harbor Authority has specified that it will accompany this distance with a series of financial infrastructural participations that will find economic support also in the within of the proposals of Integrated Plan of Sustainable City Development (PISUS). The harbor agency has remembered that, in such context, it has introduced to the Municipality of Trieste three progettuali ideas tied to relative the crocieristica and congressional activity and to the city requalification of the marine state property areas of the Rivers of Trieste finalized to the restoration of the walk to sea in the feature comprised between the Harbor office and the Sartorio pier, to the restoration of the Scalandroni on the pier Bersaglieres face to the monumental historical recovery, but also functional, of the already destined footbridges to the disembarkation of the passengers from the ships from cruise and to the electrification of the pier Bersaglieres in order to guarantee the electric power supply from earth ofthe ships from cruise (cold ironing) on the falsariga than already have happened in the main European ports. Moreover the Harbor Authority has remembered of being taken part regarding the society executrix of the intense activities of reconversion of Warehouse 42 in Marine Station, so that the same ones are completed within spring 2012, so as to allow uses it of the structure for the next crocieristica season
