- Al via the propedeutici participations to the installation of the terminal of floating rigassificazione of Livorno

- They are realized with unit of the fleet of Saipem

 In these days to 22 kilometers approximately from the coasts of Livorno they begin the participations offshore for the realization of the rigassificazione system. Offshore OLT LNG Tuscany and Saipem has in fact in program within the first months of the 2012 realization of two plans that re-enter in the necessary and propedeutiche works to the arrival of the terminal of floating rigassificazione in phase of execution near the port of Dubai.-
- The first phase of the intense activities, that it will be realized in these days, previews the installation of station SSIV (Subsea Safety Isolation Half shells), that is the submarine valve that, in case of emergency, it will supply adapted to isolation between the terminal and the conduct towards earth. The installation re-enters between the participations in order to guarantee the maximum safeguards measures of which the terminal of rigassificazione "FSRU Tuscany" is equipped, based on simple, sure and consolidated technologies.

- The ship previewed for the operations is Far Samson of the Saipem. The structure is composed of a base that will fix it to the bottom of the sea and from the module of the real station, containing the tubolature and the valves. The base is a kind of enormous turned upside down glass said also pole to suction for the anchorage type that previews the succhiaggio of the water (with the aid of the ROV, the robots submarines commanded at a distance from the ship) contained under the "glass" creating an effect empty. The module will come successively installed and fixed on the base.

- According to participation it previews the installation of the so-called one spool, that is the tube of logon between the valve - SSIV - and the submarine conduct. The operations will be realized through it use of the ship Bar Protector di Saipem in the period comprised between the 13 and 23 January 2012. The spool it will be rested on the flangiato bottom and to the two extremities (to the pipeline and the SSIV) with I use it of skin-divers. The entire system will come then put in pressure for a predetermine number of hours and the flange they will be monitored constantly in order to assess itself of the absence of very that minimal loss. Successively, the activities to sea, that they include the test of the conduct, would have to drag on instead until 5 February and will see involved, besides the Bar Protector, also a pair of barges reservior for storage of the water captured from the conduct.
