Esperti del mondo marittimo e rappresentanti delle compagnie petrolifere,
delle industrie chimiche e delle società impegnate nell'antinquinamento
partecipano al convegno International Chemical & Oil Pollution
Conference & Exhibition (ICOPCE 2001), che si è aperto
oggi al Shangri-La Hotel di Singapore.
Il meeting, organizzato dalla Maritime & Port Authority of
Singapore (MPA), ha per tema "Marine Pollution & Liability
- Challenges for the Oil & Chemical Industries" ed è
incentrato sulla prevenzione e sull'indennizzo dei danni causati
dall'inquinamento da prodotti chimici e petroliferi determinati
da navi e terminal portuali.
Al convegno, che terminerà domani, partecipano oltre 300
persone provenienti da 20 nazioni, tra cui Australia, Canada,
Cina, Corea del Sud, Filippine, Francia, Giappone, Hong Kong,
India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Medio Oriente, Norvegia, Regno Unito,
