 In the first three months of this year container traffic
enlivened by the port of Gioia Tauro was equal to about
812 thousand teu, with a significant increase of +28.1% on the first
quarter of 2021. The sharp increase in traffic was
announced today on the occasion of a visit by the Presidential Committee
of Unindustria Calabria to the President of the Authority of
Port system of the Southern Tyrrhenian and Ionian Seas, Andrea
Agostinelli.-
- The volume of containers handled in the first quarter of 2022
is also up by +7.4% also on the first quarter of
2020 and up by +66.3% on the first quarter of 2019.
