- The Board of Directors of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has approved the list of
candidates for the position of director of Fincantieri
-
- Pierroberto Folgiero will take over from Bono as
CEO. Claudio Graziano new president
-
 Today the board of directors of Cassa Depositi and
Loans (CDP), with a view to the renewal of the Board of
Fincantieri's administration on the agenda of the shareholders' meeting
of next May 16, approved the list of candidates for the
position of director, list to be presented by CDP
Industria, shareholder of Fincantieri with a stake equal to
71.32% of the share capital, together with the proposal to appoint
Claudio Graziano Chairman of the Board of Directors of
Fincantieri. In the list of candidates for the office of director
of Fincantieri figure Pierroberto Folgiero, current director
delegate of Maire Tecnimont, which the CDP board believes is in
possession of the specific professional skills for the office of
managing director of the navalmeccanica company.-
- The fifty-year-old Folgiero is therefore about to
take over the office from the seventy-eight-year-old Giuseppe Bono who leads
Fincantieri for twenty years having been appointed director
delegate in April 2002. Graduated in Economics and Business,
Folgiero began his career at Agip Petroli, Ernst &
Young and Wind Telecommunications; in 2008 it became
cfo and general manager of Tirrenia di Navigazione and
in September 2010 he joined Maire Tecnimont as chief
financial officer of KT, a group company; in May 2012
has been appointed CEO of Tecnimont and
then in May 2012 he was appointed General Manager
of the parent company Maire Tecnimont, then receiving the appointment in October
of member of the Management Board. Since May 2013 it is
CEO and General Manager of the Maire Group
Tecnimont and its main subsidiaries Tecnimont and KT.
