Finland's National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has completed the investigation into the damage to submarine cables that occurred on last Christmas, an accident following which the Coast Guard had stopped the oil tanker Eagle S, flying flag of the Cook Islands, which was present in the area at the time of the interruption of connections caused by the cutting of the cables ( of 27 December 2024).
