Lufthansa, Deutsche Post logistics merger talks

Lufthansa, the German airline, and Deutsche Post, the German mail and freight forwarding group, are negotiating a merger of their three logistics businesses, DHL International, Lufthansa Cargo and Air Express International.

Such a merger would create a group with DM17bn ($8.6bn) in turnover.
