Panalpina note une hausse du CA et des bénéfices de 26% A l’instar de la plupart des prestataires de services logistiques, le groupe suisse Panalpina a enregistré une forte croissance en 2000: le chiffre d’affaires a progressé de 26,4% à 6,8 milliards de CHF et le bénéfice net a augmenté de 26,6% à 92,8 millions de CHF. Non sans fierté, le président Gerhard Fischer (faisant clairement référence aux chiffres de Danzas annoncés à Bâle, voir article) a déclaré que ces chiffres sont principalement attribuables à la croissance organique du groupe et non à d’importantes acquisitions ou désinvestissements. Le groupe a manifestement l’intention de poursuivre cette stratégie et prévoit pour l’avenir uniquement “des acquisitions et/ou partenariats choisis avec grand soin”. A la question de savoir si une introduction en bourse est envisagée, Fischer a répondu que c’est hors de question pour les prochaines années.
