Il est passé de 6.55 mia. de FRF à 6,2 mia de FRF. C’est dû essentiellement à la suppression des ventes hors taxes, qui ont fait diminuer les ventes dans la distribution de 59% à 609 mio. de FRF (contre 1.470 mio. en 1999). Le CA des navettes a augmenté par contre de 19%, passant de 2.830 mio. à 3.362 mio. de FRF, essentiellement grâce à la hausse très sensible du trafic de navettes fret, le trafic de voitures ayant baissé. Les revenus provenant des redevances des chemins de fer sont demeurés stables (2.2 mia. contre 2.25 mia. de FRF, soit -1%).
