- The growth of the group's financial performance continues

- New quarterly historical records in the segment of
sea shipments

In the first quarter of 2022 gross sales and turnover
net of the Swiss logistics group Kuehne + Nagel amounted
respectively at 11.1 and 10.2 billion Swiss francs, values
which represent the new records for this time of year and
increases of +60% and 68% on the first three months of 2021, but that
are both down by -7% compared to the fourth
quarter of 2021 when quarterly records were recorded
Historical. EBITDA was CHF 1.3 billion
Swiss (+114%), operating profit at 1.1 billion (+160%) and profit
net marked the new historical record having stood at 832
million Swiss francs (+162%).-
- In the first three months of this year the only activities of
sea shipments operated by the group have totaled a
gross and net sales of 5.4 respectively
billion and 4.9 billion Swiss francs, values that
represent new historical records for this business segment
and increases of +86% +103% on the same period of 2021. Also
the EBITDA and EBIT generated by this sector have reached new
historical highs being equal to 631 million (+195%) and 621
million Swiss francs (+202%). The new financial peaks
maximums that have been obtained despite the volumes of goods
enlivened in this sector have marked a decrease of -4%
having been equal to 1.0 million teu containers.

- Performance also showed significant growth
financial obtained in the sector of air shipments that have
reached record values for the first quarter of the year and
are inferior only to the historical records achieved in the last
quarter of 2021. In the first three months of 2022, gross turnover and
net sales from air shipments were
CHF 3.3 billion (+84%) and CHF 3.1 billion respectively
Swiss (+91%). EBITDA totalled 444 million (+158%) and
operating profit 425 million Swiss francs (+161%). In the first
quarter of 2022 the total of air shipments operated by
Kuehne + Nagel was 574 thousand tons (+33%), volume
which represents the new record for this time of year.

- In the overland shipping sector, gross turnover is
state of 1.1 billion Swiss francs (+11%), value that
represents the new record for the first quarter of the year, while
a new peak for this period was not marked by the
net sales of 982 million (+13%). EBITDA
and EBIT amounted to € 45 million (+15%) and € 30 million respectively
million Swiss francs (+25%).

- Following the invasion of Ukraine by troops
Russian started last February 24 the Swiss group has suspended
all its activities in Ukraine and announced the
ALLOCATION of aid to Ukraine of CHF 10 million
Swiss, while it has not suspended its activities in Russia
where it is present in 21 locations.
