- In the year ending March 31, ONE's revenues were
up by +109.1%
- Net income was $16.8 billion
- Strengthened by the exceptional positive trend of the market of the
containerized maritime transport, the shipping company
Ocean Network Express (ONE) closed the 2021 fiscal year,
ended on March 31st, with the best financial results
of one's own young story that began in the middle
2017 from the merger of container transport activities
by sea of the Japanese "K" Line, MOL and NYK.
- In the period April 2021 - March 2022 the revenues of ONE are more
which doubled (+109.1%) being amounted to 30.1 billion
dollars compared to $14.4 billion in fiscal 2020.
EBITDA and operating profit increased
respectively of +276.5% and +347% settling at 18.3 billion and
$17.2 billion. Even more accentuated is
was the growth in net profit which was equal to
almost 16.8 billion dollars (+380.9%). Very limited, however,
the increase in the volumes of containerized cargo transported
in fiscal year 2021 from the fleet of the Japanese company
which were equal to less than 12.1 million teu (+0.8%).
- The fourth quarter of fiscal 2021 alone recorded
record financial results starting from revenues that, with 8.43
billions of dollars, have marked a rise of +78.5% on the period
January-March last year. EBITDA was 5.50
billion (+147.6%), EBIT of 5.2 billion (+167.8%) and net profit
of 5.11 billion dollars (+174.9%).
- As of 31 March, ONE's fleet consisted of 205
container ships for a total load capacity of
over 1.5 million teu. Over the next three years, the
company will take delivery of four new ships of 12,000
teu around the middle of the fiscal year just begun,
to which will be added four units of 15,000 teu and six from
24,000 teu during the fiscal year 2023 and therefore six ships from
15,000 teu and ten from 7,000 teu in the following fiscal year.
