- In the first quarter, all the
activities of Deustche Post DHL with the exception of e-commerce and
of deliveries in Germany

- Revenues increased overall by +19.8%

In the first quarter of 2022 the revenues of the logistics group
Deutsche Post DHL recorded an increase continuing in the
growth trend in place consecutively in the last 16 quarters
and marking, as well as the previous five quarters, a
double-digit percentage increase. In the first three months of this year the
turnover of the German group amounted to 22.59
billions of euros, with a progression of +19.8% on the same
period of 2021. In the field of express deliveries only the company
recorded revenues of 6.37 billion euros (+15.9%). In the
shipping segment revenues totaled 7.36 billion
(+54.9%), with gross sales generated by air shipments
equal to 2.86 billion (+55.2%) and a gross turnover produced by the
maritime shipments of 2.60 billion euros (+107.1%). In the
other supply chain solutions sector revenues were
amounted to 3.81 billion euros (+17.7%). The
revenues from the e-commerce sector, which were found
equal to 1.44 billion euros (-0.6%), as well as revenues
arising from the delivery of mail and parcels in
Germany, down -6.8% to 4.24 billion dollars.-
- In the first quarter of this year the group recorded a
operating profit of 2.16 billion euros (+13.0%), with contributions of
971 million from express deliveries (+1.0%), of 601 million from
shipments (+178.2%), of 205 million from supply solutions
chain (+22.8%), 102 million from e-commerce (-12.8%) and 355
millions from postal activities and deliveries in Germany
(-36,2%). Deutsche Post DHL has archived the first three months of 2022
with a net profit of 1.45 billion euros (+14.3%).

- Relative to the volumes of air and sea shipments
handled by the group, in the first quarter of 2022, after 16
quarters of decline, air shipments marked a
increase of +3.0% having been equal to 509 thousand tons, while
maritime shipments showed a slight increase of +0.3%
having been equal to 766 thousand teu containers.

- Commenting on the group's performance in the first three months of
this year, Deutsche Post DHL CEO Frank
Appel, specified that in the period occurred the
expected normalization in the e-commerce segment, which, however,
has been more than offset by developments and
remarkable results achieved in logistics activities
Global.
