- Memorandum of Understanding AdSP of the Northern Adriatic -
Guardia di Finanza for the correct use of the resources of the PNRR
-
- The goal is to ensure transparency and fairness
in the use of funds

The Port System Authority of the Adriatic Sea
Northern and the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of
Venice have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at guaranteeing
transparency and fairness in the use of funds linked to the Plan
National Recovery and Resilience. The objective of the agreement is to
strengthen the effectiveness of prevention and contrast actions
with respect to violations detrimental to interests
economic and financial of the European Union, the State, the Regions
and local authorities related to support measures and
financing of the PNRR, with particular regard to cases of fraud,
corruption, conflicts of interest and duplication of disbursements.-
- Concretely, on the basis of autonomous risk assessments
fraud, the bodies will communicate to the Provincial Command information and
detailed information, considered relevant for the repression of
irregularities, fraud and abuses of an economic and financial nature
of which they have become aware as recipients
final/beneficiaries/implementers of the various projects admitted to the
financing and reporting potential risk situations
related to the interventions to be carried out and their
filmmakers or performers. The Guardia di Finanza, as far as
its own competence, in the context of activities aimed at
proper use of public funds, will launch targeted
in-depth analysis by evaluating the elements communicated and carrying out
capillary checks aimed at verifying the correct use of funds
provided by the actuators.

- The protocol will also be a mandatory annex.
Conventions or other forms of institutional agreement,
to be signed with the implementing bodies of the funded projects
within the PNRR for which the System Authority
Port of the Northern Adriatic Sea turns out to be an entity
beneficiary.

- The duration of the protocol is expected until completion
of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and, in any case, no later than
on 31 December 2026.
