- Last year the traffic of goods in Greek ports is
state of 149,6 million tons (- 0.6%)

- Growth of +27.7% of passengers and +39.3% of rolling stock

 The Hellenic Statistical Authority announced today that
in the last quarter of 2021 Greek ports have enlivened
a total of 37.8 million tonnes of goods, a volume which
represents an increase of +3.0% on the same period of 2020
when the Covid-19 pandemic was having a significant impact
on the activity of national ports and with a decrease in
-5.2% on the fourth quarter of the pre-pandemic year of 2019.
In the last quarter of last year the only national traffic is
state of 6.7 million tons (-1.2% on the fourth quarter of the
2020 and -13.1% on the fourth quarter of 2019), while traffic with
abroad amounted to 31.1 million tonnes
(+4.0% and -3.4% respectively).-
- In the last quarter of last year the traffic of the
Passengers in Greek ports was 4.64 million people
(+51.3% and -20.7%), of which 4.44 million transported in the
national (+51.1% and -20.8%) and 200 thousand from maritime services
international (+55.6% and -17.2%). Rolling stock traffic is
state of 1.94 million vehicles (+27.8% and -3.4%), of which 1.78
million transported by national services (+27.6% and -4.4%) and 163 thousand
international services (+30.2% and +9.5%).

- In the whole year 2021 the traffic of goods in the airports
ports has attested to 149,61 million tons (- 0.6%
on 2020 and -7.4% on 2019), of which 28.59 million tons
handled at national level (+2.5% and -13.0%) and 121.01 million
tons in the international arena (-1.3% and -6.0%). Passengers
were 25.66 million (+27.7% and -29.4%), including 25.51 million
transported by national services (+26.2% and -29.1%) and 1.15 million
from international ones (+74.2% and -36.1%). Rolling stock transported
from maritime services were 9.92 million (+39.3% and -10.2%), of
of which 9.20 million at national level (+39.3% and -10.6%) and 722 thousand in
international (+39.4% and -5.0%).
