- Navios Maritime Partners buys two new dual container ships
fuel from 7.700 teu

The Monegasque Navios Maritime Partners has announced that it has
bought two newly built dual fuel container ships of the
capacity of 7,700 teu that will be taken over
in the last quarter of 2024 and will be rented.
The acquisition took place for a total of 241.2 million
Dollars. In addition, Navios Maritime Partners got an option
of a two-month duration relating to two additional container carriers
of the same type with delivery in the second quarter of 2025.-
- The first two container ships, whose propulsion will be able to
be powered by liquefied natural gas or fuel
conventional, they were rented for 12 years for an installment of
average freight of $42,288/day. In particular, in the first three
years the rental installment will be 57,213 dollars / day, from
fourth to sixth year of $52,238/day, from seventh to sixth year
to the eighth of $37,313/day, from the ninth to the tenth year of
$27,363/day and $24,875 in the last two years
dollars/day. In addition the renter has an option to extend
the rental period of another two years at a freight installment of
$24,875/day.
