"In the first phase - explained the CEO of the Hupac group, Michail Stahlhut - we will put into operation two transhipment tracks and three service tracks. Loading units they will be moved with reachstacker. In a second phase, we will increase the capacity and install three more tracks of transhipment and powerful gantry cranes». Remembering that fin from the beginning the terminal was designed for long trains 740 meters, Stahlhut pointed out that "in this way we anticipate the parameters of the European freight corridors and we get the maximum productivity for combined transport trains'.
Owner and operator of the plant is the Polish subsidiary Hupac Terminal Brwinów Sp. z o.o. The commissioning of the terminal is scheduled for next autumn. In initial phase the terminal will operate on two shifts.
