
To the joint venture between the Chinese group COSCO and the Argentine PTP,
which was the only bidder for the construction and
management of a multipurpose terminal at the Moll d'Andalusia of the port
of Tarragona
(

April 2026), the concession of the
duration up to 50 years to carry out these activities. The agreement
includes the La Boella train terminal.
The winning joint venture will be 51% owned
by Rapport Investment Ltd, 51% owned by COSCO Shipping Ports and
49% by COSCO Bulk, and 49% by PTP Ibérica, subsidiary
of the PTP group. It is envisaged that the joint venture
invests a total of 116.8 million euros in the Spanish port.
Since the entry of COSCO-PTP among the port operators of
Tarragona, the Port Authority of the Spanish port expects
a strong boost to container traffic that has so far been a major boost in Tarragona
a completely marginal result and which last year was

container and we will expand that of various goods and vehicles - has

After the concession contract has been signed, it is expected that the
joint venture COSCO-PTP will start operations at the end of this year for
