- In the first half of this year the port of Valencia has
enlivened 2.6 million containers (- 6.6%)

- In the second quarter alone the decline was -3.6%

 In the first half of this year the port system of
Valencia, which consists of the airports of Valencia, Sagunto and
Gandía, has handled 41.6 million tons of goods,
with a decrease of -2.4% on the first half of 2021. In the only
Port of Valencia the total traffic was 37.0 million
of tons (-5.6%), of which 29.8 million tons of goods
containerized made with an equal container handling
to 2.6 million teu (-6.6%), 5.5 million tons of goods
conventional (+6.6%), 776 thousand tons of solid bulk (+1.0%)
and 662 thousand tons of liquid bulk (-6.5%).-
- In the second quarter of 2022 alone, the port of Valencia
handled 19.5 million tons of cargo, with a
decrease of -2.7% on the period April-June last year.
Container goods amounted to 16.7 million tons
(-5.0%) and were totalled with a movement of
containers equal to less than 1.4 million teu (-3.6%). Bulk
liquid and solid increased by +1.0% and +13.1% respectively
standing at 375 thousand and 404 thousand tons.
