- The performance of the Marine & Division is growing
Offshore by Bureau Veritas

- As of March 31, the class fleet consisted of 11,533
ships

In the first quarter of this year the company's revenues
Bureau Veritas classification and certification have increased
of +11.7% having attested to 1.29 billion euros compared to
1.15 billion in the same period of 2021. Division alone
Marine & Offshore reported revenues of EUR 101.4 million
euro, up +7.8% on the first quarter of last year.
BV has announced that in this sector of activity the revenues
deriving from new shipbuilding, which is equal to 42% of the
turnover of the division, have recorded a close increase
+10% thanks to the increase in new orders during the year
last, particularly in China. More attenuated the growth of
revenues produced by the services offered by the division, which are equal
43% of total revenues.-
- As of March 31, the Bureau Veritas class fleet was
composed of 11,533 ships for 140.1 million tons of tonnage
gross, with a progression of +0.8% relative to the number of
ships.

- In the first quarter of 2022 new orders to the division
Marine & Offshore amounted to 2.3 million tons of
gross tonnage compared to 2.2 million GRT in the corresponding
last year period. The new orders have raised the
order book size at 17.1 million tonnes of
gross tonnage at 31 March last, up by +4.9% on 31
December 2021 and up +20.3% year-on-year.
