Ils devront payer une taxe de 0,15 EUR par kilomètre pour pouvoir emprunter les autoroutes allemandes.
  • Singapour: PSA va devoir repenser son approche
    La décision de l’armement Evergreen Marine de transférer en août prochain ses trafics de Singapour au port malaysien de Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) n’a guère surpris. PSA a longuement négocié et formulé plusieurs contre-propositions allant dans le sens d’une réduction très sensible des taux, mais il lui était manifestement impossible de présenter des conditions aussi favorables que celles de PTP. Selon certaines informations, les taux de manutention seraient de 50% moins élevés chez le jeune et nouveau concurrent voisin. Compte tenu des circonstances très défavorables dans lesquelles évoluent les mega-carriers opérant sur l’axe Est-Ouest, le choix d’Evergreen peut se comprendre. L’armement taiwanais a ainsi suivi l’exemple de Mærsk Sealand, qui s’est engagé pour 30% dans le PTP. La direction d’Evergreen n’a d’ailleurs pas caché que ce transfert d’un trafic de 1,2 million de TEU allait générer une économie qui se situerait entre 6 et 10 millions d’USD par an.

    Bien que très peu connu, le groupe Sealogis, dont le siège est implanté à Levallois, près de Paris, apparaît de plus en plus comme le fer de lance de la diversification du groupe ferroviaire français SNCF. Via diverses filiales et participations, il est déjà présent dans huit ports, dont sept français et un belge. Avec un capital de 10 millions d’EUR, il est spécialisé dans les métiers de la logistique portuaire et maritime. L’ensemble de ses activités représente un volume d’affaires annuel de 300 millions d’EUR et un effectif global de 760 personnes.
