The group would turkish Yildirim Holding signed an agreement to acquire 50% stake in Malta Freeport Corporation, the French shipping group CMA CGM, which operates the container terminal at the port of Marsaxlokk Malta. This was announced to the press agency "Bloomberg" stating that the agreement was confirmed by the Group Finance Director turkish Evren Ozturk and that the transaction has a value of EUR 200 million.
Yildirim recall that recently became a shareholder in the same CMA CGM ( of 26 November 2010 and 28 January 2011). Turkish group operates in the port sector through the subsidiary that operates Yilport terminal for general cargo and bulk cargo in the port of Gebze.
