Some major national firms operating in the fields of insurance and marine insurance broker, of Genoa, Faculty of Economics and Performa - Service training at the University of Genoa - are organizing a master specialist in order to train young graduates in the field and enter marine insurance, a first in the national framework, will be joined by a shorter course of training dedicated to people already employed.
The master, open to graduates in Economics, Law and Political Science, aims to provide the tools to know the competitive system, the structure and organization that characterize the insurance companies and insurance brokerage firms, in order to transfer to participants are highly competent to manage insurance issues in the transport sector, with particular reference to the marine industry.
The master will start from next December with a period of more than 300 hours of classroom, to be followed by a period of more than 400 hours in the company. The advanced course, which will begin soon after and is aimed primarily at people already employed, provided for about 30 days of training with the opportunity to enroll only a few specific lessons.
The companies, under the auspices of the International Propeller Club of Genoa and Turin's Biblioteca Alfonso Desiata, are collaborating on the organization of the master are: AON SpA, AXA Corporate Solutions Spa, Cambiaso Risso Marine Spa, PL Ferrari & Co. Ltd., Queirolo and Associates Ltd, SIAT - Italian Society Insurance and Reinsurance Spa Fedespedi, Jas Worldwide, Kuhne + Nagel, Italy, Rina Spa and Righetti Law Firm.
