
In the whole of 2024, as in the fourth quarter of the year alone, the
cargo traffic in Greek ports was
almost stable in both periods and, in both, this
is the result of the increase in national traffic that has
offset the reduction in international inflation. Last year, the
overall port traffic of goods, as well as in the
2023, was 143.0 million tons, of which 30.1 million
million tonnes of domestic traffic (+4.7%) and 112.9 million tonnes

40.9 million (+7.8%), including 39.1 million transported by
domestic maritime services (+8.2%) and 1.8 million from national maritime services
international (-0.2%). In the period October-December only, the
passengers were 6.4 million (+4.8%), of which 6.2 million in the
domestic traffic (+5.0%) and 242 thousand in international traffic
(-0,5%).
