The Port System Authority of the Central Adriatic Sea Settentrionale confirmed the completion, in compliance with the timetable established by national and European authorities, of the works relating to its nine projects financed under the of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. "Respect of the PNRR deadline of 30 June 2026 - specified the president of the institution, Francesco Benevolo - represented a great challenge, which required a strong commitment for the entire structure of the entity. Through effective management of procedures and to a tight schedule, all the Certificates of Completion of Works on the ministerial platform ReGiS, respecting the European deadline set for 30 June". Of the nine projects, the interventions relating to the construction of a photovoltaic system in the former Sarom refinery which has allowed the total urban and environmental regeneration of A disused industrial area of 44 hectares. On about 34 hectares it is a photovoltaic system with a total power of 37.16 MWp, capable of generating energy clean with zero emissions. The remaining portions of land were enhanced and transformed into wooded areas with filter functions and ecological mitigation.

Phase 1 of the installation of a cold ironing system at the Passenger Terminal quay of the port of Ravenna. It was also carried out the grid infrastructure that will connect the energy produced from the new photovoltaic park directly to the Cruise Terminal of Porto Corsini.
