
Last month, the Port of Los Angeles handled a
container traffic of 960 thousand TEUs, a volume that represents a
Down -5.8% on July 2025 when the record was set
and which is the eighth highest of
always. In July 2026, both full container volumes decreased
at the disembarkation and of full containers at the embarkation,
respectively to 499 thousand TEUs (-8.1%) and 112 thousand TEUs (-8.0%), which the
handling of empty containers, which was equal to
349 thousand TEUs (-1.5%).
In the first seven months of 2026, the Californian port of call
handled a total of 6.08 million TEUs, with an increase in
+1.8% over the same period last year, of which 3.17
million full TEUs at landing (+2.7%), 827 thousand full TEUs
at boarding (-1.9%) and 2.08 million empty TEUs (+1.9%).
