
The Genoese Ignazio Messina & C. has announced the next
launch in September of the new West Med Line scheduled service which
will bring together existing services for Algeria and Libya into a single
enhanced network across the western Mediterranean. With departures
regular from Spain and France approximately every 10 days, the new service
will offer connections to both direct destinations and
those served via Genoa, further strengthening coverage
of the Spanish, French, Libyan and Algerian markets.
The rotation of the new service will touch the ports of
Castellón, Barcelona, Fos, Genoa, Misrata, Tripoli,
Misrata, Algiers and Castellón. The first departure, by boat
Libertas H, will take place on September 6 from
Castellón.
