    L’armement Stena Line a décidé de mettre un terme en décembre prochain au service containérisé régulier qu’il exploite depuis 1994 entre Harwich et Zeebrugge, après l’avoir repris à l’organisation Rail Freight Distribution. Pour le manutentionnaire OCHZ, qui traite ce service, cela signifie la disparition d’un volume annuel de quelque 30.000 containers. Ce trafic est assez équilibré entre entrée et sorties.
  • Les constructeurs de camions sont inquiets pour la croissance économique
    Les milieux du poids lourds sont inquiets pour l’évolution de l’économie suite aux protestations contre les hausses du diesel. Certains vont jusqu’à dire que les conflits actuels pourraient provoquer un nouveau ralentissement économique, voire d’une récession, et appellent dès lors à des mesures de soutien de l’euro. Selon Leif Östling, CEO de Scania, il est urgent dans ce contexte de supprimer les divergences qui existent entre autres au niveau de la fiscalité entre les différents pays.

Jusqu’à présent les navires retournaient à vide. Cela change dès ces jours-ci avec l’organisation d’un service de retour.
