Le programme de restructuration lancé par la division américaine Freightliner a généré 300 millions d’USD d’économies en six mois de temps, chiffre conforme aux prévisions, a précisé Cordes. Pour 2002, il table sur une régression de 10 à 15% du marché des camions et fourgonnettes. DaimlerChrysler lancera six nouveaux véhicules sur le marché cette année.
