
France's CMA CGM finalizes the acquisition of FedEx
Supply Chain, with a transaction that assigns to the subsidiary of
FedEx Corp. an enterprise value of $1.4 billion

July 2026). The Marseille-based shipping and logistics group has
highlighted that with the integration of resources and quasi-
ten thousand employees of FedEx Supply Chain, CEVA Logistics, the
logistics subsidiary of the CMA CGM group, becomes one of the main
contract logistics service providers in North America,
almost tripling CEVA Logistics' presence in the region with
the addition of almost 3.2 million square meters of
warehouse. The combined entity comprises approximately 150 warehouses,
bringing CEVA Logistics' presence in North America to over 240
sites, with a workforce of about twenty thousand employees.
In parallel, CMA CGM and FedEx are entering into agreements
multi-annual trade agreements for air and maritime transport, opening up

will become a preferred ocean carrier for FedEx,
offering sea and land transport services on the basis of a
non-exclusive agreement. In addition, the two companies plan to
work on an agreement on air transport capacity on
several strategic routes, including those between Asia and Europe.
