Besides the fields of activity in which Maersk Line and APM Terminals operate, also the other divisions of group A.P. Møller-Maersk has accused a contraction of the results and at the level of group the budget of according to trimester of 2016 has been archived item with a profit clearly of 118 million dollars on revenues pairs to 8,86 billion dollars, with reductions respective of the -89,1% and the -15,8% on the correspondent period last year. EBITDA and EBIT have shown bendings of the -32,4% and the -57,4% coming down to 1,78 billion and 656 million dollars.

EBITDA and EBIT of group are piled to 3,38 billion dollars (- 35.1%) and 1,15 billion dollars (- 65.9%).

Maerks Line has concluded the first semester of this year with a net loss of -114 million dollars on revenues pairs to 10,03 billion dollars respect to a profit clearly of 1,22 billion dollars on revenues pairs to 12,52 billion dollars in the first six months of 2015. The EBITDA is diminished of the -61,3% to 851 million dollars and the operating result has been of sign negative for -107 million dollars respect to a positive EBIT for 1,27 billion dollars in the first semester last year. In the first half of the 2016 fleet of Maerks Line it has transported 5,02 million feu (+6.9%). The medium hire for feu has turned out pairs to 1.782 dollars (- 24.8%) and the average cost of the fuel to 186 dollars/ton (- 46.2%).

APM Terminals has closed the first semester of this year with revenues pairs to 2,03 billion dollars (- 6.6%), an EBITDA of 351 million dollars (- 17.6%), a EBIT of 264 million dollars (- 34.3%) and a profit clearly of 220 million dollars (- 37.3%). The enlivened containerized volumes from the company in the first six months of the 2016 have been pairs to 18,1 million teu (- 1.1%).
