OCEAN Alliance anticipates the new net of line services that include six Italian ports



OCEAN Alliance, active the shipowning consortium in the segment of the containerized marine transport that is constituted in April 2016 by the companies of navigation CMA CGM, COSCO Container Lines (COSCON), Evergreen Line and Orient Overseas Container Linens (OOCL), has announced a renewal of the configuration of the net of marine lines of the alliance that will be inaugurated with the denomination Day Two the next April to a year from the operating start of the cooperation between the four companies realized with a net of services called Day One.

In order to cover entire the new Network constituted from 42 services that will scale 629 ports they will be employed altogether about 340 portacontainer for a total cargo ability pairs to 3,6 million teu, against 41 services that cover 593 ports included in the schedule of the current Network Day One that is realized with a fleet of 331 portacontainer for a cargo ability of 3,35 million teu.

In Italy the new net of services of OCEAN Alliance will scale six ports for a total of eight touched. The port of Genoa will be included in the two Asia-Mediterranean services called AEM1 and AEM2 and in the service ocean-going liner MENA. The others five Italian ports will be included everyone in a single service: in particular, the port of will be scaled by service AEM1, the ports of Trieste and Venice from the service called Asia-Mediterranean AEM6 and the ports of Livorno and Salerno from service MENA.
