- Fosen Yard acquires Stralsund Shipyard

- Signed a lease agreement with the administration of the
Hanseatic city

The Norwegian shipbuilding company Fosen Yard, which operates
the shipyard of Rissa, expands its range of action to the
Germany taking over the management of the Stralsund plant which
was part of the bankrupt MV Werften of the Genting Hong Kong group,
in turn in recent weeks placed in liquidation
(
of 19
January 2022). Yesterday Fosen Yard has in fact signed with
the municipal administration of Stralsund the lease
relating to a large part of the area (7.8 hectares) of the shipyard,
area that had been acquired by the German municipality last first
March. The validity of the contract will begin on
next first june.-
