- Maersk expects better quarterly results than the
already rosy previous estimates

The Danish shipowning group A.P. Møller-Mærsk
plans to close the second quarter of this year with revenues
record, higher than previous expectations, equal to 21.7 billion
of dollars compared to 14.2 billion recorded in the same period
of 2021. A record EBITDA of
$10.3 billion ($5.1 billion in the second quarter of
last year) and a record net profit of $8.9 billion ($4.1 billion)
billions). The group has specified that the remarkable performances are
driven by the exceptional situation of the market in which the
own containerized maritime transport division.-
- The group plans to close the entire 2022 annual financial year
with an EBITDA of approximately 37 billion dollars (24.0 billion in the
2021) and with an EBIT of about 31 billion (19.7 billion).
