- In the second quarter the traffic of goods in the port of
Ravenna increased by +1.9%

In the second quarter of 2022 the port of Ravenna has
handled 7.13 million tonnes of goods, volume that
represents the new record for this time of year and a rise
by +1.9% on the second quarter of 2021 when it was established
the previous record. The only import traffic is
piled to 6,16 million tons (+1.9%) and that
to imports to 969 thousand tons (+2.0%). Traffic
total miscellaneous goods was 2.98 million
tons (+6.7%), of which 706 thousand tons of goods in containers
(+15.3%) made with a handling of containers equal to
67 thousand teu (+19.9%), 435 thousand tons of rolling stock (+18.0%) and 1.84
million tons of other miscellaneous goods (+1.5%). Growing
also the liquid bulk with 1,25 million tons (+5.0%), of
of which 695 thousand tons of refined petroleum products (+0.8%) and
553 thousand tons of other cargoes (+10.8%), while bulk
solid are down of -3.7% having attested to 2.90 million
Tons.-
- In addition, in the second quarter of this year - with overall
with 51 thousand passengers - cruise traffic has resumed
which last year was stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic.

- In the first half of 2022 the port of Ravenna marked the
own new historical record of semi-annual traffic of goods with
13,86 million tons, up +8.1% on the first half
of last year, a record that had previously been recorded in the
first half of 2019 with 13.36 million tons. In the sector
of miscellaneous goods were handled 1.32 million tons
of goods in containers (+10.3%) with a container handling
pari a 123mila teu (+12.7%), 891mila tons of rolling stock (+22.7%)
and 3.62 million tons of other cargoes (+11.7%). Bulk
dry have totaled 5,67 million tons (+4.1%) and those have totaled those
liquid 2,36 million tons (+6.8%), including 1,23 million tons
tons of refined petroleum products (-5.5%) and 1.13 million
of tons of other bulk (+24.3%).

- The Port System Authority of the Adriatic Sea Center
Settentrionale has announced that in July 2022 the port of Ravenna has
enlivened about 2.4 million tons, given that if it represents
a decrease of -6% on July 2021, however, remains higher by +15.5%
compared to July 2019.
