
The shipping company Sallaum Lines, which is active
in the car transport segment with a fleet of pure cars and
truck carrier, announced the creation of Sallaum Logistics,
A company dedicated to European automotive logistics
through the extension of Sallaum Lines' expertise to the
land transport of motor vehicles, in particular cars
new factories, with the aim of offering manufacturers and
dealers a single reliable partner from the port to the
dealership throughout Europe.
While Sallaum Lines continues to focus on transportation
global maritime company, Sallaum Logistics, headquartered in Vilnius,
Lithuania, will support the next stage of the pathway, namely
the transport of vehicles from ports, depots and transport centres
distribution to dealerships and final destinations in
all over Europe. Sallaum Logistics will also offer
Vehicle condition inspection and pre-delivery and services
storage at selected sites, taking advantage of the
Sallaum Lines terminals in the port of Antwerp.
Sallaum Lines has announced that the new activity will count
initially on a fleet of 50 car transporters, with the aim of
to have 300 owned vehicles by 2029.
