    Le groupe maritime canadien Fednav, entre autres, le plus important exploitant de services de lignes régulières en conventionnel/breakbulk, entre l'Europe du Nord, principalement Anvers, et les Grands Lacs, vient de vendre sa participation de 50% dans l'armement Navios Corporation de Stamford. Cette transaction n'était pas prévue initialement. Il semble que la proposition faite par un groupe composé d'investisseurs "Saltchuk Resources" de Seattle et Levant Maritime Cy, affilié au groupe grec Leventis, qui avait incité un autre actionnaire de Navios, en l'occurrence Citicorp Venture Capital, à vendre, à eu raison des hésitations de Fednav. La transaction porte sur toutes les filiales de Navios.
