The Dholera Port Ltd (DPL), promoted by the JK Corporation, has decided to develop the greenfield site at Dholera on the Saurashtra coast as an all-weather deep-sea port.

It will have an 'open berthing' facility for vessels of up to 65,000 dwt (panamax), from phase-I itself.

The project is scheduled to be ready by 2002. ......
