    Le nouveau CEO du groupe australien Mayne-Nickless, Peter Smedley, n’a pas perdu son temps: il a vendu les sociétés de transport express Parceline et Interlink Express (ainsi que la petite société Mayne Nickless Logistics) au R.-U. et en Irlande, ce qui signifie que le groupe n’a désormais plus d’activité dans le transport en Europe. La nouvelle n’a guère étonné, car on sentait venir un recentrage des activités sur le secteur hospitalier et des soins de santé. Le nom de l’acheteur n’est pas davantage une surprise: c’est GeoPoste, la société de La Poste française pour l’express et la logistique. En effet, les sociétés reprises sont les franchisés de DPD outre-Manche, et plus de la moitié de DPD appartient déjà à La Poste.
