Bayonne veut des lignes avec les ports du Nord Situé à l'embouchure du fleuve Adour, le port français de Bayonne, dans les Pyrénées-Atlantiques, a traité 1,750 million de tonnes de marchandises au cours des cinq premiers mois de l'exercice 2000. Grâce à 312 millions de FRF (47,6 mio. d'EUR) d'investissements, il va renforcer ses capacités. L'un des objectifs du développement prévu est l'ouverture de lignes avec les grands ports de l'Europe du Nord.
