La filialisation d’ABX réussira-t-elle le 5 octobre? La filiale de transport routier, d’expédition et de logistique de la SNCB, ABX Logistics, est à la croisée des chemins. Une nouvelle tentative de filialisation sera effectuée lors du conseil d’administation de la SNCB du 5 octobre, mais il n’est pas certain que cela réussira. Les syndicats avaient réussi à torpiller l’opération il y a un mois et il n’est pas clair s’ils le feront à nouveau. Etienne Schouppe, l’administrateur délégué de la SNCB, demandera également au conseil d’administation d’approuver un programme d’investissement de 250 mio. d’EUR pour ABX, qui sera entre autres affecté à l’acquisition d’une impportante société de distribution aux Pays-Bas. Le forcing exercé par Schouppe est entre autres motivé par le fait que le 13 octobre, la composition du conseil d’administation devrait être très sensiblement modifiée et que tous les plans concernant ABX risquent d’être revus. La Sabena cliniquement morte suite au désistement de Swissair Maintenant que Swissair refuse de payer la première tranche (de 5 mia. de BEF) de l’injection de capital promise de 10 mia. de BEF, il semble que les jours de la Sabena sont comptés.
