    Les deux nouveaux projets présentés hier à la presse par New Wave Logistics Belgium portent sur un centre de distribution international pour des chaussures de Clarks au magasin d’Aartselaar et un projet full service pour des produits de Minolta dans l’ensemble de l’Europe. “Les deux projets vont permettre de pratiquement doubler l’emploi, à 300 personnes, et d’atteindre un CA de 32,5 mio. d’EUR en 2001, ce qui revient à une progression de 60%”, explique Guy Vanlimbergen, directeur de New Wave Logistics (Belgium).

    Ce que nous annoncions en septembre dernier, se confirme: le groupe The New World Alliance (TNWA) va lancer en juin/juillet prochain un quatrième loop entre l’Europe du Nord et l’Asie, qui sera exploité sous le nom “EU4”. D’après les informations dont nous disposons pour l’instant, ce service sera également axé sur la desserte de la Chine, où il toucherait plusieurs ports en direct. Ce nouveau service pourrait soit escaler en direct à Anvers, ce qui signifierait qu’un deuxième service s’installerait dans le port scaldien, soit se substituer au loop existant, qui est appelé “CEX” et qui est également axé sur la desserte de la Chine. Une décision doit encore être prise à ce sujet. Les navires du service “CEX” fréquentent Anvers en direct à une fréquence hebdomadaire.
