La réforme a surtout pour but d’optimiser le travail de promotion et de lobbying du port de Gand. La moitié des entreprises express sont des firmes individuelles; 1/3 travaille avec des sous-traitants Une enquête de STV (Stichting Technologie Vlaanderen)-Innovatie & Arbeid sur toutes les entreprises express en Flandre et à Bruxelles a mis en évidence quelques faits marquants.
