Undersigned the agreement that confers 67% of the capital of the Harbour Authority of Salonicco to consortium SEGT
According to the forecasts, the transaction will be completed in the course of the first trimester of the next year

Yesterday the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), the Greek governmental agency for the privatizations, has undersigned the agreement in order to yield the property of 67% of the capital of the Harbour Authority of Salonicco to the consortium South Europe Gateway Thessaloniki (SEGT), that Equity is constituted by the investment trusts Deutsche Invest Partners GmbH di Monaco and Belterra Investments Ltd. of Nicosia and from the terminalista society Terminal Link of the French shipowning group CMA CGM, consortium that the slid spring was selected which better offerer having had introduced a proposal of the value of 231,9 million euros(on 26 April 2017).
The understanding will have to be approved of from the Greek authority antitrust and will have to be ratified from the Parliament of Athens. .
The executive president of the HRADF, Aris Xenofos, has evidenced that the management of the port of Salonicco, with already recorded positive impact of the positive conclusion of the agreement for the management of the port of the Pireo, than by last year he is operated by the COSCO Shipping Ports of shipowning group Chinese COSCO Shipping(on 5 July 2016), "it constitutes development and increase an axis that crosses our Country vertically, strengthening ulteriorly the role of Greece as European gateway of the enterprises international for the traffic of the goods and the cruises".
Last year the port of Salonicco has enlivened 14,1 million tons of goods, with a bending of the -7,5% regarding 2015. In the field of the goods several the traffic has been of 4,0 million tons (+0.9%), of which 3,5 million tons of goods in container (- 1.8%), 63 thousand tons of rotabili (- 6.9%) and 520 thousand conventional tons of goods (+25.0%). The liquid bulk and those sand banks have marked decreases respective of the -4,7% and -22,0% attesting to 7,1 million and the 3,0 million one tons. The traffic of the passengers has been of 69 thousand unit (+163.7%), of which 19 thousand crocieristi (- 28.4%).
