Completed the sale of Bergen Engines from Rolls-Royce to Langley Holdings
The Norwegian company produces engines and generator sets for the maritime and land transport sectors

The transaction includes the Bergen Engines engine factory, the company's service workshop and foundry in Norway as well as the design capacity of engines and power plants electricity and the global network of services and subsidiaries in nine countries. In 2021 Bergen Engines generated revenues of approximately 250 million euro. The company employs nearly 950 people worldwide, of which more than 600 are based at the headquarters and production facilities near Bergen, Norway.
Specifying that in the future Bergen Engines will be managed as an autonomous business unit focused, as well as on its traditional markets, on the rapidly developing sector of the power generation in microgrids, Langley Holdings has specified that Bergen will become the core of the new division Power Solutions training that will work closely together with the Italian branch of the Marelli Motori group and with the subsidiary German group Piller Power Systems. It is expected that in 2022 the new Power Solutions division, which will employ around 2,400 of the 5,600 total workers of the group, will generate about 600 million of the 1.3 billion euros in revenues expected from Langley.
