- Alessandro Pitto has been appointed president of
Fedespedi

 Today in Milan the general assembly of Fedespedi, the
federation of Italian shipping houses, has appointed new
president Alessandro Pitto, partner and CEO of
Genoese Casasco & Nardi, for the three-year period 2022-2025. Pitto, which
succeeds Silvia Moretto president for the 2019-2022 mandate, is
the 17th president in the history of Fedespedi and is
engaged in the associative field for over twenty years: in Spediporto,
the association of Genoese freight forwarders, was
president for two terms and has been vice president since
2019 to date.-
- The new board of directors of
Fedespedi, which consists of Domenico de Crescenzo, Manuel
Scortegagna, Andrea Brighenti, Ciro Spinelli, Mauro Da Ros, Paolo
Maderna, Guglielmo Davide Tassone, Andrea Patrone, Luca Elio
Spallarossa, Andrea Fontana, Angelo Colombo, Andrea Giachero,
Claudio Poggi Longostrev and, Mario Bartoli. Also renewed on
Board of Auditors, formed by Giancarlo Saglimbeni,
Giuseppe Bianculli and Nicola Laureana, and the Board of Arbitrators,
consisting of Costantino Volpe, Alberto Bartolozzi and Marco
Migliorelli.

- Thanking the outgoing president Silvia Moretto for the work
carried out in recent years, the whole associative system for the
trust placed in him and the newly elected board of directors, Pitto has
specified that "Fedespedi presented itself to this
appointment and the challenges that await it after three years of
intense work, which has strengthened its positioning and
visibility among the reference stakeholders. This
work - added Pitto - must not be dispersed, but to the
contrary continued, capitalizing on the experience of people who
they led it, combining it with the enthusiasm of the most
young people who want to participate in the associative life: this is
the spirit with which I begin this new challenge".
