"The concrete and immediate signal we expected from part of the companies, especially in relation to our request to stabilise 35 workers (including fixed-term contracts and administered) - explained Giuseppe Gucciardo (Filt Cgil), Dino Keszei (Fit Cisl) and Gianluca Vianello (Uiltrasporti) - it is not unfortunately arrived. Employers' organisations continue to postpone: "we need technical time to realize these assumptions" we were answered. In terms of salary and supplementary bargaining - they then specified - we have obtained the willingness to open a comparison starting from the coming weeks. The same goes for what concerns the containment of overtime (in order to promote stabilization of precarious workers) and the correct application of the frameworks. During the meeting many were addressed topics, including health and safety, work reorganization port, competitiveness of the system, tariffs and much more».
Representatives of Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl and Uiltrasporti have however, specified that the meeting "allowed us to reopen dialogue and to open a new path to try to improve the working conditions of workers. It is without a doubt - said Gucciardo, Keszei and Vianello - of a first step important. The concrete and strong signal that we had asked immediately has unfortunately not arrived. Thank again the authority for the efforts made in trying to find a solution. Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl and Uiltrasporti declare themselves as always available at all times to return to sit again at the table to discuss with employers' organizations'
