Rotterdam: le trafic de containers a reculé au premier semestre Au premier semestre, le port de Rotterdam a transbordé 2,3% de plus de marchandises qu’au cours des six premiers mois de 2000 mais le grand port néerlandais a également subi une baisse du transbordement de containers (-6,8% en volume). Le transbordement de marchandises a augmenté à 161,8 mio. de tonnes grâce aux excellents résultats dans des secteurs comme le charbon (+33,5%), les produits pétroliers et petcokes (+16,1%), le pétrole brut (+7,5%) et les vracs agricoles (+16%). Le trafic à l’entrée a augmenté de près de 5% tandis que celui à la sortie a baissé d’un peu plus de 6%. L’Entreprise portuaire Communale (GHR) ne s’attend pas à un record cette année, suite entre autres au ralentissement de la croissance économique.
