
Today PSA Intermodal Italy and Logtainer signed with
Interporto di Padova the final agreement for the
implementation of the Padua intermodal terminal project,
marking the transition from the award of the tender - obtained in
December 2025 - to the execution of the project
(

September and
18
December 2025). The agreement provides for the establishment of the new
company "PSA Padova", which will lead
the further development and operation of the terminal.
Under the new structure, PSA Intermodal Italy will hire
a leading role in PSA Padua, with a majority stake
and operational responsibility. Interporto Padova will maintain
a minority shareholding, ensuring strong roots
and the continuous strategic alignment of the terminal with
the regional logistics system. Thanks to its experience in the
multimodal transport and rail activities in Italy,
Logtainer will contribute to the enhancement of the
intermodal services, promoting greater efficiency and
competitiveness of the terminal.
Meanwhile, the two shareholders' meetings of
Interporto Padova Spa and Padova Hall Spa which have approved the
merger by incorporation of Padova Hall Spa into
Interporto Padova Spa

April 2026). The new name of the company is
"Interporto Padova Hall Spa". Based on the estimate
carried out by the BZM studio, the exchange ratio was
set at the rate of one share of Interporto Padova of the value
nominal value of five euros for 69.7735 shares of Padova Hall worth
nominal of one euro. As a result, the new share capital of the
incorporating company Interporto Padova Spa, post-merger, which
today it is 44,929,355 euros, it is 52,705,025 euros, with
an increase of 7,775,670 euros. The new shares of the public shareholders of
respectively the Chamber of Commerce 36.40% (it was
34.18%) Municipality of Padua 25.20% (was 21.04%) Province of Padua
15.83% (was 18.29%).
