    N’aurait-il pas été préférable de reporter quelque peu l’opération d’introduction en bourse de CP Ships, une des divisions du conglomérat Canadian Pacific, et d’attendre une situation economique et boursière plus propice? La première journée de cotation du titre CP Ships a porté sur l’échange de 10.000 titres à la bourse de Toronto au prix de 17 CAD par titre, alors que les pronostics faits précédemment pour l’introduction en bourse faisaient mention d’un prix de 21 CAD. Sur base de ce cours de l’action, la valeur de cette entreprise se situerait au niveau de 850 millions d’USD... alors qu’en juin dernier, la valeur comptable de CP Ships était annoncée à 1,1 milliard d’USD, soit 51,15 mia. de BEF.
