15 maggio 2026
Le Aziende informano
The Genoa Maritime Forum will return on June 17 - 18, bringing
maritime professionals from across the industry to the renowned port
city of Genoa. The event is expected to attract shipowners that are
local, regional, and from across the world, as well as ship
managers, ports, regulators, policy makers, classification
societies, technology companies, suppliers, and service providers.
Designed as both a conference and a business networking
platform, the forum will combine strategic discussions with
extensive opportunities for companies to connect directly. Over the
course of two days, attendees will be able to meet potential
partners, discuss operational challenges, exchange ideas, and
explore new commercial opportunities across multiple sectors of the
maritime industry.
The conference agenda will feature ten panel discussions focused
on the key issues shaping shipping today. Sustainability and
decarbonization will be central themes, with sessions such as
Navigating the Green Horizon and Fuel Pathways Showdown examining
global emissions strategies and alternative fuels, including
methanol, ammonia, LNG / Bio-LNG, and drop-in biofuels.
Additional discussions, including Energy Efficiency Revolution
and Retrofit & Conversion, will focus on practical approaches to
improving vessel performance and reducing environmental impact.
Technology and operational resilience will also play a major role in
the program. Cyberproof Operations will address cybersecurity risks
affecting fleets and port infrastructure, while The Digital Ocean
and AI in Maritime Operations will explore how digital tools and
artificial intelligence are changing day-to-day maritime operations.
Human capital remains another important focus, with The Human
Element examining seafarer wellbeing and onboard safety. The agenda
will also include Next-Generation Shipbuilding and Cruise Fleet
Modernization - highlighting innovation, efficiency, passenger
comfort, and regulatory compliance.
Networking will remain one of the defining features of the
forum. Around 30 exhibitors will showcase solutions and services
ranging from decarbonization technologies and digital systems to
maintenance support, crewing, and other essential maritime services.
Dedicated networking sessions will allow participants to engage in
direct conversations and develop partnerships that extend beyond the
event itself.
A gala cocktail reception will further enhance the networking
atmosphere, providing attendees with a more relaxed environment for
informal discussions and relationship building.
With its rich maritime history, major Mediterranean port, and
beautiful coastal surroundings, Genoa offers an ideal setting for an
event focused on collaboration, innovation, and the future of global
shipping.
